I thought this was really good, especially for your first Flash. Well done!
great as always
once again, quirky humour which doesn't follow a typical formula. good natural voice acting, and max's style complements yours very nicely. i think i will check out that podcast you mention in the comments!
this is dry, deadpan humour, and sells itself well as a natural, and yet bizarre, conversation. Similar in that respect to the Mickey the Dick series, which also got unfairly low reviews sometimes from people who don't appreciate this kind of humour.
Surprisingly fun and innovative - good stuff!
Thanks for the review. I appreciate ;)
True to the humour of the series and the style of classic point-and-clicks. A masterpiece.
original and fun
I have to say, Bart Bonte is one of my favourite game developers; as usual, the challenges are creative and interesting. Unlike most puzzle games which repeat the same mechanic each level, Bart mixes it up with a series of unique brain-teasers. Overall, a refreshing addition to the puzzle genre which certainly deserves more attention.
I can't really think of much to say other than 'well done', and that it was inspiring. In fact, I'm thinking of using the track for non-commercial purposes for a rap group me a couple of my friends are starting; to whom should I credit the track, 'C-Jon Symbolic Prods' or what? Imitation is the best form of flattery as they say ^-^
you're going to make a rap group but not using the beat for commercial purposes? like you won't make a song out of it?
well.. just don't sell the song you make with this beat ok? i got copyrights for all of the beats in here. just to be clear.
and.. uhmm.. credit me as C-Jon and a link to my Ng profile ok? ehe
well-drawn, interesting style
hmm, it seems like you've drawn half-way between anime and real life, with interesting results. everything looks realistic apart from the eye and jaw structure which are clearly anime-influenced. not quite sure what to make of it at first but have decided it is a pleasing, if slightly confusing effect. also, a bit more shading on the neck/shoulders could have made it look more 3-d, otherwise excellent shading. very aesthetically pleasing and natural-looking hair, any particular inspiration for that style? thanks for uploading.
Very welcome, glad you felt like reviewing. I was just messing around with ideas really, came up with something relatively interesting.
